Hickey’s Pharmacy is a locally orientated nationwide pharmacy with two locations in Dublin, namely Gorey and Northside Dublin. iReach Insights was commissioned by Hickey’s Pharmacy for in-depth reasons in order to explore the underlying reasons for no visits to the local Hickey’s Pharmacy to fill their prescription.
iReach Insights used a Qualitative approach to this research problem of Hickey’s. Considering the logistics and time-span, iReach Insights was able to draft a sample size of 14 to conduct the research. A 50% spread of users were used to gain an independent view of each of the locations. This considering the two locations were in different geographic areas with a considerable different demographic spread.
Key elements of the study consisted of feeling the overall pharmacy experience, experience with Hickey’s Pharmacy, the overall competition of Hickey’s Pharmacy and the presence of online means. Lastly, the participants were asked about possible changes they would like to see in the Hickey’s Pharmacy.
With a professional attitude, the iReach Insights analysts were able to feel the overall opinion of the participant which enabled Hickey’s Pharmacy to get real-time information about their customers. The feedback was considered very valuable as changes were made based upon the arguments of the valued participants
